Day 01: Cochin Arrival by flight and drive to Munnar (130kms / 4hrs drive)
Upon your arrival our representative with driver will welcome you at the Airport and further drive to Munnar en route stop at Cheeyappara Water Falls and continue to visit Tea Museum before check in at hotel. Overnight stay
Day 02 : Munnar stay one more night
Visit Top station, Echo point, Mattuppatty dam, Honey bee tree and after lunch Rajamalaiforest (Eravikulam national park for Nilgiris Dhar (wild goat), walk in Munnar town. Overnight stay.
Note: Eravikulam national Park (Rajamalai Forest) is the sanctuary for the Nilgiris Dhar (Wild goad), it will be closed from 01st February to 31st March-every year for breeding season (Baby goad born).
Day 03 : Munnar to Thekkady (120kms/4hrs drive)
Check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady en route visit Spice plantation and check in at your hotel, later you can do Elephant ride, Boat ride in Periyar lake, watch martial arts Kalaripayattu. You can do Ayurveda massage as well. If you wish to do Trekking, border hiking, bamboo rafting and Tiger trail. You shall stay one or two more nights at Thekkady (For these activities that you will have to book in advance one day before at the Forest department office). Overnight stay.
Day 04 : Thekkady to Alleppey backwater (150kms / 5hrs drive)
Alleppey is the backwater destination (Vembanad Lake) and famous for its houseboat journey. The houseboat check in time is at 12:30PM, all your meals will be prepared in your houseboat. (You have to book the houseboat in advance, NO other tourists will be shared in your houseboat). Overnight stay at your houseboat.
Day 05 : Alleppey to Cochin(50kms/1hours drive):
After breakfast and disembark from houseboat drive to Fort Cochin and visit Mattancherry palace (Dutch palace), Jewish synagogue, Chinese fishing net, Vasco-da-Cama squire, St. Francoise church, Indo- Portuguese Museum and Laundry village, evening watch Kathakali dance show.Overnight stay. Note: Every Friday & Saturday Jewish synagogue will be closed and every Friday Mattancherry palace will be closed.
Day 06 : Cochin to Wayanad (250kms/5hrs drive):
Wayanad is a rural district in Kerala state, southwest India. In the east, the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is a lush, forested region with areas of high altitude, home to animals including Asiatic elephants, tigers, leopards and egrets. In the Ambukuthi Hills to the south, Edakkal Caves contain ancient petroglyphs, some dating back to the Neolithic age
Post breakfast drive to Calicut, it is also called Kozhikode (It is called Malabar district in British period). Kozhikode is a coastal city in the south Indian state of Kerala. It was a significant spice trade centre and is close to Kappad Beach, where Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama landed in 1498. The central Kozhikode Beach, overlooked by an old lighthouse, is a popular spot for watching the sunset. Inland, tree-lined Mananchira Square, with its musical fountain, surrounds the massive Mananchira Tank, an artificial pond. An another highlight place Beypore. Beypore is noted for building wooden ships, known as dhows or urus in the Malayalam language. These ships were usually bought by Arab merchants for trading and fishing but are now used as tourist ships. According to Captain Iwata, founder member of the Association of Sumerian ships in Japan, Sumerian ships might have been built in Beypore. There is evidence to prove that Beypore had direct trade links with Mesopotamia and was a prominent link on the maritime silk route. Overnight stay
