Chennai Airport Arrival / Mamallapuram& Kanchipuram / Pondicherry /Tanjore(en route covers Chidambaram, GangaikondaCholapuram&Darasuram)/ Chettinad / Rameshwaram / Kanyakumari / Madurai / Kodaikkanal / Ooty / Mudhumalai wildlife / Coimbatore airport departure.
- Day 01: Chennai Airport:
Arrival at the airport, welcomed by our representative and driver. Proceed to your hotel. Later, visit Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Cathedral Church, Marina Beach, Fort St. George, and Government Arts Museum. Overnight stay.
- Day 02 : Kanchipuram & Mamallapuram (140kms / 4hrs drive)
Drive to Kanchipuram; visit Kailasanathar Temple, Ekambareshwarar Temple, Kanchi Kamakshi Amman Temple, and Varadaraja Perumal Temple. After lunch, proceed to Mamallapuram. Visit the Shore Temple, Five Rathas, Arjuna Penance, Krishna Mandapam, Ganesha Ratha, Krishna Butter Ball, and the Old Lighthouse. Overnight stay.
- Day 03 : Mamallapuram to Pondicherry (100kms / 2hrs drive):
Drive to Pondicherry; en route visit Auroville (Matri Mandir), Aurobindo Ashram, and Manakula Vinayagar Temple. Check-in at your hotel. In the evening, stroll along the French colonial streets, visit the Museum, and relax at Gandhi Beach. Overnight stay.
- Day 04 : Pondicherry to Tanjore (220kms / 5hrs drive)
After breakfast, depart around 08:00 AM. Visit Chidambaram (Nataraja Temple), Gangai-konda-Cholapuram, Darasuram (Airavatesvara Temple), and Tanjore Palace and Museum. Overnight stay in Tanjore.
- Day 05 : Tanjore to Rameshwaram via Chettinad (250kms / 6hrs drive):
Early breakfast, start at 08:30 AM. En route, visit Chettinad Palace, Pamban Bridge, and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial. Arrive in Rameshwaram and check-in at your hotel.
- Day 06 : Rameshwaram to Kanyakumari (320kms / 7hrs drive)
Morning visit to Agni Theertham, Rameshwaram Ramanathaswamy Temple, Ramar Footprint, Dhanushkodi (Ram Sethu), and Panchamuga Hanuman Temple. Proceed to Kanyakumari and check-in. Enjoy sunset at Sunset Point. Overnight stay.
- Day 07 : Kanyakumari to Madurai (250kms / 4hrs drive)
Witness sunrise, then visit Kumari Amman Temple, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, and Tirunelveli Sangam. Later, drive to Madurai. In the evening, visit Meenakshi Amman Temple. Overnight stay.
- Day 08 : Madurai to Kodaikkanal (125kms / 4hrs drive)
Before departure, visit Gandhi Museum, Mariamman Theppakulam, and Thirumalai Nayak Palace. Drive to Kodaikanal and check-in. Overnight stay.
- Day 09 : Kodaikkanal to Ooty (260kms / 7hrs drive) both are Hills Road.
Visit Berijam Lake, Pine Forest, Guna Caves, Pillar’s Rock, Green Valley, and Coaker’s Walk. Proceed to Ooty. Optional: If you wish to Ride the Mountain Train from Mettuppalayam to Ooty (Recommend - Book in advance) stay at Mettuppalayam hotel. Overnight stay either at Ooty or Mettuppalayam.
- Day 10 :Explore Ooty
If traveling by Mountain Train, depart from Mettuppalayam at 07:20AM and arrive in Ooty around 12:30 PM. Visit Dodda Petta Peak, Rose Garden, Elk Hill Murugan Temple, Botanical Gardens & Lake. Overnight stay.
- Day 11 : Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary (50 km / 2 hrs one-way)
Drive to Mudhumalai; en route visit Shooting Medu and Pykara Waterfalls. Options include elephant ride or Jeep safari into the Mudhumalai sanctuary. Return to Ooty for overnight stay.
- Day 12: Ooty to Coimbatore Airport (100 km / 3 hrs)
