- Day 01: Chennai Airport to Mamallapuram
Arrival at the airport and drive to Mamallapuram. After refreshment and relaxation, visit Mamallapuram Sea Shore Temple, Five Rathas (Stone Chariots), Arjuna Penance, Krishna Mandapam, Ganesha Ratha, Mahisasura Mardhini cave, Krishna Butter Ball, Old Lighthouse and Beach. Overnight stay.
- Day 02 : Kanchipuram excursion from Mamallapuram (70kms/2hrs):
Proceed to Kanchipuram; visit Kailasanathar Temple, Ekambareshwarar Temple, Kanchi Kamakshi Amman Temple, and Varadaraja Perumal Temple. After lunch, return to Mamallapuram. Overnight stay.
- Day 03 : Mamallapuram to Pondicherry (100kms/2hrs ):
Drive to Pondicherry; en route visit Salt Land to see salt harvesting. Continue to Auroville (Matri Mandir), Aurobindo Ashram, and Managula Vinayagar Temple. Check-in at your hotel. In the evening, walk along the French colonial streets, Seaside Promenade (Rock Beach), and visit the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Nehru Street. Overnight stay.
- Day 04 : Pondicherry to Tanjore (220kms/5hrs )
After breakfast, depart around 08:00 AM. Visit Chidambaram (Dancing Shiva Temple; closed from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM), Gangaikonda Cholapuram, Darasuram (Airavatesvara Temple), and Tanjore Palace, Darbar Hall, Saraswathi manuscript library & Museum. Overnight in Tanjore.
- Day 05 : Tanjore to Chettinad via Trichy (150kms/3hrs ):
Morning visit to Tanjore Brahadeeshwarar Big Temple . Drive to Chettinad via Trichy; visit Sri Renganathaswamy Temple, Sri Rangam, and Amma Mandapam. En route, visit Thirumayam Fort. Check-in at your hotel and enjoy an evening walk through the heritage village. Overnight stay.
- Day 06 : Chettinad to Madurai (170kms/4hrs):
Visit Chettinad Palace, Athankudi Palace, and Handmade Floor Tiles Factory. Drive to Madurai, stopping at Flower Market and Gandhi Museum. In the evening, visit the famous Sree Meenakshi Amman Temple. Overnight stay.
- Day 07: Madurai Village Tour
A specially organized half-day tour including climbing rocks, walking through rice fields, visiting villagers’ homes, and trekking in Alagar Hill’s herbal forest and Keezhadi Museum – Recently excavated, this site is a village approximately 3,500 years old. The museum showcases artifacts and findings from the excavations, offering insights into ancient South Indian civilization.Return to Madurai for overnight stay.
- Day 08: Madurai to Munnar (180 km / 5 hrs)
Drive through scenic ghat roads, stopping at Keezha Quil Kudi Village (Village Guard Temple with Lotus Pond), Valley View, and Tea Plantations & Tea factory and Museum. Check-in at your hotel. Evening walk in Munnar town. Overnight stay.
- Day 09: Munnar Full Day Tour
Visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park, home to Nilgiri Tahr), Top Station, Echo Point (watch for wild elephants), Mattupatti Dam, Tea Museum, and stroll through Munnar town. Optional: You can opt for either half-day or full-day trekking in the tea valley. Overnight stay.
- Day 10: Munnar to Thekkady (Periyar) (130 km / 4 hrs)
Drive to Thekkady; visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Activities are available for boat rides (advance booking-recommended), elephant rides, jeep safaris, spice plantations, Ayurveda massages, and cultural shows like Kalaripayattu Martial Arts. (Optional for trekking: stay an extra night). Overnight stay.
- Day 11: Thekkady to Alleppey Backwaters (150 km / 5 hrs)
Drive to Alleppey; check into your houseboat at 12:30 PM. Enjoy Kerala’s cuisine onboard and stay overnight on the houseboat. (Advance booking required).
- Day 12: Alleppey to Mararikulam Beach (15 km / 30 min)
At 09:00AM, disembark from the houseboat after breakfast and drive to Mararikulam Beach, one of Kerala’s best beaches. Relax, swim, and sunbathe. Overnight stay.
- Day 13: Mararikulam to Cochin (50 km / 1 hr)
Drive to Cochin; check-in at your hotel. Visit Laundry units, Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), Jewish Synagogue (closed Fridays & Saturdays), Chinese Fishing Nets, Vasco-da-Gama Square, St. Francis Church, and Indo-Portuguese Museum, Water metro. In the evening, enjoy a Kathakali dance performance (tickets available at the venue). Overnight stay.
- Day 14: Departure from Cochin
